Weatherford Mortuary Welcomes You!
Weatherford Mortuary is making some temporary changes, based on the current circumstances of health and safety across the globe regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
On December 20, 2020 TN Governor Bill Lee signed Executive Order No. 70 to extend the State of Emergency related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to January 19, 2021. At that date, the situation will be reevaluated according to the current conditions.
Recommendations have turned into State Mandates and are changing from day to day, so feel free to check back with us often.
This recent mandate:
Urges Tennesseans to continue limiting activity and staying home where possible, as well as following health guidelines and maintaining social distancing.
Urges persons to wear a cloth face covering in places where in close proximity to others.
Encourages frequent handwashing; the use of hand sanitizers and proper hygiene.
Limits social and recreational gatherings of more than 10 people.
Encourages postponement of large events such as weddings and funerals.
STRONGLY recommends funerals be postponed or attended only by close family members.
The Tennessee Funeral Directors Association contines to recommend families to utilize services minimizing public attendance such as graveside services, vitual funerals or postponing the service to a later date.
*As always, we are available to respond to a death 24 hours a day and services as scheduled.

Masks are mandatory when entering our funeral home.

Our Business office will continue to open at 8am M-F, however, the length of our day may vary. Please call before coming to make sure we are in.
