Obituary for Wilma Lee Basler

Wilma Lee Basler, 85, Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, July l6, 2018. She was born January 18, 1933 in Piney, Tennessee, the daughter of Julia (Gann) and Melvin Entsminger. Preceding our loved one is her husband, Delbert Basler; sisters, Opal Brown and Jenny Fritz and brother, Floyd Daniels and son-in-law, Patrick Crouch. Also preceding her is her niece, Claralynn by Wilma's sister Opal.
Wilma worked many years as a military housewife through many moves and overseas locations. She helped keep her family together through hard work and determination. She has two children, Tommy H. Basler and Pamela B. Crouch. In addition to her children, she is survived by Tom's children, Susan Vialpando (Paul), Thea Basler (Paul) and Ryan Basler (April); Pam’s children, Emily Blevins (Mark) and Timothy Crouch (Michelle); Great-grand Children, Lance and Allison Vialpando and Nathan John Basler; and another beloved niece, by sister Opal, Julianne Sutton (Charles) who resides in Georgia.
Wilma loved to craft. She enjoyed and loved her family, and friends, especially Wanda Coffey and family, and Deloris, John and Michael Burom. She also loved her pets and treated them with love and respect. She will be missed by all that loved her.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 12 – 2pm at Weatherford Mortuary. Immediately following the visitation, family and friends will meet at Piney Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakdale, TN at 3:00pm for a graveside service with Rev. Pat McGhee officiating.
