Obituary for Tommy Gene Crites

Tommy Gene Crites, 74, of Oak Ridge, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Methodist Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1944 in Sedgewicksville, Missouri, the son of Thomas and Dorothy Williams Crites. Mr. Crites was a long time devoted member of Batley Baptist Church and loved the Lord. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Billy Crites. He is survived by wife, Nora Lee Donald Crites; sons, Thomas Dewey Crites and Ken Johnson and wife Jolene; daughters, Debbrah Kay Snodgrass, Elizabeth Ann Crites, Donna Starnes and husband David and Tamara Mullins and husband Al;
brothers, Frank, Bobby, Steve, Jimmy, Gary and Jackie Crites; sisters, Viola Daniels, Vida Fields, and Shirley Compton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family and special friends, Bobby Queener and Ronnie Jackson. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 6 – 8pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 8:00pm with Rev. Luke Kidwell officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 11am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a graveside service.
