Obituary for Annice Shows Crowe

Annice Shows Crowe, 90 of Oak Ridge passed away at Brookdale Senior Living on October 6, 2017. Annice was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on December 10, 1926 to parents O.B. Shows and Cora Mae Avery Shows.

She attended Dante Church of God, Knoxville, loved cooking and was famous for her fried chicken and pound cake, not disclosing her recipe to anyone.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lester D. Crowe to whom she was married to for 63 years at the time of his death.; Brothers, Joe and Jim Shows; Sister, Marilyn Harris.

Annice is survived by: Son, Curtis R. Crowe (Margaret), Knoxville; Daughters, Patricia Armes (Harold), Harriman; Brenda Dunn (Lester), Oak Ridge; Grandchildren, Brittany Bellmore (Josh), Andrew Crowe (Laura), Stephen Dunn (Amber);
Great-grandchildren, Gage, Jayleigh, and Allena Dunn.

The family would like to extend their gratefulness to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living for their wonderful love and care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dante Church of God Building Fund, 410 Dante School Road, Knoxville, TN 37918 in Annice’ memory.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 5 – 7 PM at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. David Snyder officiating. The graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Wednesday, 10 AM. An online guest book may be signed at weatherfordmortuary.com
